Department of Physics of İzmir Institute of Technology (IZTECH) has an open faculty position at the assistant professor (doktor öğretim üyesi) level.
The position is in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics. However, exceptional applications in related fields may also be considered. Applicants should qualify for the recruitment criteria of IZTECH. They are expected to have postdoctoral experience and solid research background with a strong publication record in their field.
The successful candidate is expected to pursue a vigorous research program that supports/complements the current facilities at the department, attract external research funding, and contribute strongly to the department’s teaching program both at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Proven record of a good command of written and spoken English is also required.
